How much is my domain worth?
Domain names are no longer worth the same amount they were before the dot com bubble burst in 2001. Some domain owners have unrealistic expectations about the value of their domain name. With over ten million domain names for sale on the open market, there are many to choose from at bargain-basement prices. As a general rule, domains that are generic one-word domains are worth more than two-word domains. For example, computers.com would be worth more than desktopcomputers.com. In addition, .com domains are worth more than .net or .org domains. The offer amount to buy your domain name will be evaluated based on its length, how generic it is, and the amount of traffic, if any, coming to it.
